Instructions

The instructions describe the individual elements and functions of easyWeb standard. A distinction is made between editorial, content and administrative. Editorial contains all instructions that explain the editoral design options in detail. Content contains brief descriptions of typical content elementsas well as instructions for page design/layout. Thirdly, it is explained which administrative settings can be made.

A first insight into TYPO3 as well as instructions for basic functions such as creating pages can be found here in the form of videos.

The instructions use the terms and descriptions that TYPO3 uses in the respective language. The instructions in German are adapted to the German language in the backend, the instructions in English to the English language in the backend. Here you can find a short instruction how to change the language in the backend.

General FAQs

User roles in the backend

The following roles can be assigned in the backend by a site admin (site admins can only be authorized by the ITS and Wapp team):

Page EditorCan create and edit pages and content in the Pages module.
Special EditorCan edit links in meta navigation and at the bottom.
Person EditorCan edit person profiles and their subpages.
News EditorCan create and edit news articles and edit the corresponding content elements.
Events EditorCan create and edit events posts and edit the corresponding content elements.
FAQ EditorCan create and edit FAQ posts and edit the corresponding content elements.
RegisteredCan edit own profile page. Assigned when user logs in to TYPO3 for the first time.
Statistics ViewerHas access to the visitor statistics of Plausible on the dashboard and can customize the personal dashboard.

The role Site-Admin has all permissions of the roles below. All other roles are independent of each other.
