FAQ Page design

Google displays misleading or incorrect information in the company box (e.g. opening hours).

We recommend that you create an buisness profile on Google. The business profile is a supplement to your website and allows you to change the information that is displayed in a Google search for your business or website. You can find instructions on how to do this here.

After you have created a business profile, we recommend that you request the ownership. If no owner is registered, anyone with a Google account can change the business's information on Google. Only as an owner you can prevent changes or correct them if necessary. Instructions on how to request ownership can be found here. Please note that it takes seven days for all functions to be activated for the new owner.

How do I delete/copy/move pages that contain subpages?

The so-called Recursive Deleting and Recursive Copying - i.e. deleting/copying pages with their subpages - is a feature disabled by default for users to prevent unintentional deletion of large parts of the page tree. However, you can enable the feature yourself:

To do so, click on your name in the top right corner of the backend and then on "User Settings" below it. There, select the tab "Edit and Advanced functions". Here you can activate a checkbox with the following name: "Recursive deletion(!): Allow ALL subpages of a page to be deleted". In the "Recursive Copy" field you can also specify a number of sublevels to be copied (e.g. 5). Confirm the activation of the features by clicking "Save".

Why doesn't my created content appear on the page?

Make sure that the changes you have made have been saved, this does not happen automatically. Also check that you are not on a staging instance (info on this can be found here). You can recognize this best by the blue banner in the frontend or the orange color scheme of the backend.
