Release 3.0.2
This release introduces a translation aid (with DeepL).
Visible improvements:
- [DEEPL] A translation aid is added which pre-translates the existing texts using DeepL. Instructions can be found here . In the best case only proofreading and saving is required.
- [SYSTEM] The content 404 page can now be customized by site admins.
- [SYSTEM] The meta data of a page (interesting for the display in search engines and social media) can now also be edited for the home page. Subpages could be edited before. The instructions and further information can be found here.
- [SYSTEM] More control characters are filtered out in the editor. By Copy&Paste some characters were inserted in the past, which were displayed only in make browsers and produced thereby wrong representations.
- [SYSTEM] If the language of a grid element or accordion is changed, the language of the child elements changes as well. This only worked up to a certain depth of nesting. This has now been fixed.
- [SYSTEM] In rare cases, some drop-down lists were not displayed correctly in the backend and could only be used after reloading the website. This problem has now been fixed.
- [PUBLICATIONS] When entering an organizational unit as a filter, sub-organizational units were no longer selected. This has now been fixed.
- [PERSONS] Web or social media links that were maintained for a person were no longer displayed in the old (legacy) layout of the profile page. This has now been fixed.
- [PERSONS] If a person list included some people and excluded others at the same time, an error occurred so that the person list could not be displayed. This error has now been fixed.
- [NEWS/EVENTS/FAQS] Creating a tag directly from a news, event or FAQ item no longer worked. This problem has been fixed.
- [NEWS/EVENTS/FAQS] The URL of news, events and FAQs is now generated correctly again, even if special characters are included in the title.
Hidden improvements:
- [SYSTEM] 18 software modules (libraries) have been updated.
- [SYSTEM] Further preparations for the new containerizable infrastructure Kubernetes
- [SYSTEM] Further cleanup work regarding the last major version change (upgrade from version 8 to 9)
- among other things, non-functioning redirects were deleted
