How can I search for content in the backend?
In the backend, a search function is embedded in the upper right corner next to the username, which allows you to search the content for search terms. When you enter the search term, a selection of content elements and/or pages that contain this term appears. Now click on the corresponding element you want to edit. You can also search for several words (e.g. the beginning of a sentence). However, then exactly this combination is searched, not each word individually.
Search input options:
- #page:search handle
- If you are looking for pages with specific titles, you can enter the #page:search handle (no space after the colon) and search for the corresponding page.
- #content:search term (word)
- If you are looking for a specific keyword in a content element, enter it in the search field. All content elements containing this word will be displayed.
- #content:Search term (sentence)
- If you are looking for a specific phrase in a content item, you can also enter it in the search field. All content elements that contain exactly this sentence, or this word combination, will be displayed.
- Search term (word/phrase)
- Same functions as described above, but the entire content is displayed, not just pages or content elements.
